Rare! Vintage HALINA STB FLASHMATIC 110 TELE Pocket Film Camera – Hong Kong

Description

This Halina camera is hard to find. It could not be tested so I don’t know if it
works. The shutter does work and the button that moves the pictures also. It has
a damaged spot at the bottom part. The battery compartment shows some corrosion
on the top contact part. It comes with hand strap.

The Halina STB Flashmatic 110 Tele was one of several 110 film cameras made by
Haking. It is a relatively average looking simplistic fixed focus camera with
built in flash of its era. Its catch is that you can switch between Normal angle
(25mm) and Tele (43mm). The switch not only moves between lens but moves a
framing mask into the simple viewfinder.

The flash needs to be manually triggered. Its 2 AA batteries do not power any
metering, low light warning or exposure control, meaning the camera is not only
fixed focus but fixed exposure too. On the film compartment door there is
embossed a flash distance table although this can be hard to read as on
transparent plastic
